The HPL book talks are an opportunity for 3rd graders and up to get together, talk
and blog/video about books!
When you read a good book, it’s only natural to want to share it with others. Book talks are simple, informal presentations designed to inspire others to read a book you enjoyed. You're probably already doing it! Word-of-mouth is extremely effective, especially when kids receive recommendation from their peers!
*Fill out the book report form beforehand, bring it and your book with you to the library.
We plan on meeting on the 2nd Thursday of the month! Snacks will be provide by the library!

What are the Hartington Public Library Book Talks?
The Hartington Public Library Book Talks are an opportunity for kids to get together at the Library and to share and talk about the book they read. Once you've read your book, you fill out the Book Report Form and bring it with you to the event at the Library. There, you can share what you've written about the book and hear about the books other kids have read.
